tofu shop reminds me a story that few of my japanese friends told me "tofu" was originally invented by Japanese and it's a food from Japan that i should try it!

my another experience is that once a Japanese guy told me chopsticks were invented by Japanese and he's suprised that why i can use better than him.

another Japanese friend asked me how to call "soy sauce" in English. he said "is it called Japanese sauce? Chinese also uses Japanese sauce, right?".

while living in Japan, i've come across such experience many times... (﹣＿﹣ ; )
